Villa Alamanda is a thatched tropical getaway that seamlessly blends contemporary architecture and décor with a native touch. It is constructed with mostly local materials and is perched high on a ridge above the Petanu River, providing guests with spectacular views of the river itself and the valley. It is just ten minutes from the town of Ubud; an artistic center featuring some of Bali’s most accomplished creative minds.

Bedrooms:

Master Bedroom: This room has a red hardwood floor, a high arched thatched ceiling, a king sized bed, wardrobe, an en - suite bathroom and doors that open out onto the terrace. It is decorated with a beautiful bell jar ceiling lantern, as well as paintings and artifacts native to Indonesia.

Red Room:  Has all the features of the Master bedroom, and is characterized by the mostly red accessories and decorations, namely, paintings and lamps. It has a king sized bed and a private garden bathroom, complete with marble bathtub which is surrounded by leafy shrubs.

Cinnamon Room: Characterized by the spicy cinnamon stick arrangement that is in the vase just above the bed. Has a king sized bed, private garden bathroom, complete with marble bathtub which is surrounded by leafy shrubs.

Garden Suite: This room is located in a separate thatched pavilion that also functions as a lounge with shelves and shelves of books and DVDs. Has a king sized bed, and an en-suite bathroom complete with canopied bathtub. 

Living Room, Dining Area, Kitchen:

The living and dining areas have an “open” design and serves as an ideal place for relaxation and enjoying a meal, respectively. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials. 

Outside Areas:

Garden: Pass through the dramatic arched gateway and you will access a beautiful, lush garden of verdant jungle foliage, as well as an array of tropical plants and flowers. There is also a water tower, which is intricately carved with flowers, birds, dragonflies and other figures.

Swimming Pool: Beneath a frangipani tree is a beautiful infinity edge swimming pool, set against a backdrop of palms, bamboo and vegetation. Nearby is a gazebo, featuring a series of cushioned day beds.

Patio: The beautiful white palimanan stone patio features statues carved by hands as well as lamps which makes for a romantic atmosphere. Guests may sit and enjoy the soothing sound of birds chirping in the distance.
