Location

The property is 10 minutes from Aix-en-Provence with its fabulous shops, restaurants, clubs and TGV station. It is 25 minutes from Marseille’s Marignane International airport via the autoroute, and 15 minutes from a private airfield Les Milles. Golf and a range of supermarkets and shops are within 5 minutes drive. The Luberon valley’s beautiful hilltop villages are 30 minutes away and the beaches of Cassis and Bandol about 40 minutes.

Description

Guests have access to most of the estate including the tennis court, swimming pool, gardens and olive groves, gym, main house and garage. Note that the farm house, agricultural hangar and staff studio at the rear of the house, all working buildings, are closed to guests.

Buildings on the estate with guest access include the main house (Aixoise Maison du Maitre), a pigonnier (decorative only), the Orangerie (with gym),a large pool house (music system with ipod connectivity, shower, drinks fridge etc) and a large Garage

The buildings are located on a high point in the middle of 10 hectares, not overlooked by neighbouring properties so completely private They offer 15 km views of Massif d'Etoiles from the front door /

There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with all facilities, Nespresso, modern Barbecue etc

An extensive list of DVD's (over 300 titles) are available for use by clients during their stay.

First floor

There is a quiet study area, a Master bedroom with en-suite bath and shower room, separate toilet –,1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom sharing a bathroom.

Second Floor

Another quiet study area, a Master bedroom with en-suite bath and shower room, 1 twin double bedroom, 1 double bedroom and 1 children's bedroom with 2 single beds and a bunk bed sharing a bathroom

Pool Care and Gardening - our contracted staff take care of the grounds and pool. Guests are simply requested to keep the pool area reasonably tidy of games, toys etc, personal effects etc at the end of each day, to allow for cleaning and general upkeep maintenance.

Notes

For security there are certified alarm systems in place in both the swimming pool and the pond in front of the main house for the protection of tenants and their children. Tenants are required to secure the property as demanded by the insurance company (shutters closed where necessary at nighttime etc).

There are two Airedale dogs, 'Nestor' and 'Muffin', both wonderful friendly family pets, who live on the property for general security. They generally bark at visiting cars etc (while attempting to get run over) but they are extremely safe and great with children .

We regret we are unable to offer personal laundry services, unless the number of guests are 6 or below and then by arrangement with the Maid.

Tenants are requested not to smoke pipes or cigars inside the property and no smoking of any kind in bedrooms

Wine cellar: We recommend that clients choose and purchase their own wine, although on the first night, we are pleased to propose some good but inexpensive wine (€15 euros bottle) from our cellar.

Maid services - 6 days a week, 5 hours a day for common areas, bathrooms, bedrooms and general tidying up. Linen and towels are changed mid and end of each week. (All extra hours required by the tenant are charged at €16 per hour by prior verbal agreement.)

Electricity usage is included

Caretakers : one couple on site ( the guardian is a good cook and can also be hired , his wife Yoanna speaks English fluently)

Yoanna can do cooking for the client 50 euros per meal + shopping or we can arrange for chef service at €250 for up to 8 guests (3 month notice requested)

Minimum booking period for July and August is 2 weeks
