One of Casa de Campo great villas. This six bedroom villa is divided in three separate areas each offering open spaces and privacy. The villa is located at walking distance from Minitas Beach. The living room offers two six place adjoining tables and dining plus a comfortable seating area, TV with DVD player and sound system. Outside seating areas offers great views of the swimming pool area and the La Romana Country Club Golf Course.

All social areas face the east which affords shade and balmy breeze the entire day. The master bedroom opens to a private patio with its own Jacuzzi tub and main garden area. Two of the five guest bedrooms features it's own terrace and private garden with garden showers. All bathrooms offer whirlpool bathtubs. All bedrooms offer golf views and are equipped with TV, writing desk and safe box.

Swimming pool offers a sunken pool bar, Jacuzzi, BBQ, gazebo and a gym are also part of the amenities. This impressive villa is named for the palm trees that are cleverly worked into the design. Including a fountain with a palm tree motif, ceiling fans made to look like palm fronds, the wrought-iron front doors with a palm tree design, and native thatched roofs over the gazebo and front entrance. But what guests will notice first is its brilliant design, which makes the most of its lovely setting and the breezy, sunny Dominican climate.

Thanks to its eastern exposure, the sprawling pool, gazebo and terraces stay shady and cool throughout the day, and still offer terrific views of green No. 8 of the La Romana Country Club Golf course and beyond that, the ocean on the horizon. Guests will want to spend much of their time relaxing or entertaining at the resort-like pool area.

The freeform pool, big enough for swimming laps, has an adjacent whirlpool and swim-up bar at one end. The large terrace surrounding it features a built-in bench, a redwood table, seating 8, with bistro umbrella, and a thatch-roofed gazebo. Under the gazebo, cooled by ceiling fans, is a seating area, a casual dining table seating 6, and a bar seating 4, which smartly shares the wet bar that serves the swim-up bar in the pool. The pool is visible from most points in the villa, including the covered terrace that serves as an open-air family room.

This terrace includes two seating areas done in oversized rattan furniture accented with crisp white, blue and gold cushions, and a round dining table seating 8. It leads directly into the living area, furnished with slightly more formal mahogany furniture, and a formal dining area, with two square tables seating a total of 8. This room is the first guests will see when they enter the foyer, which, like the rest of the villa, has an imported Saltillo tile floor.

In a separate building off one side of the pool is the kitchen, large and modern, with gleaming countertops, a work island and stainless-steel appliances, including a dishwasher.

Two of the six bedrooms are located atop the kitchen: the other four are in a separate wing on the other side of the pool. Each spacious bedroom has its own sitting area, a walk-in closet, and a generously sized bath done in lovely Dominican marble, with an extra-deep whirlpool tub. The master suite is especially luxurious. It has a private terrace overlooking the gardens, with two lounge chairs, a side terrace with sunken whirlpool, and a wrought-iron sitting area.

The extra-large bath, with bidet, opens to the outdoor whirlpool and terrace, and the outdoor shower is kept private by a high stone wall. This villa is equipped with many thoughtful extras, such as an air-conditioned gymnasium located below the gazebo, outfitted with treadmill and weight machines and its own bath; a built-in, professional-quality BBQ grill; and a large closet near the front entrance, perfect for storing golf clubs or other sports equipment. Guests will also appreciate its central location, just a few minutes by touring cart to Minitas Beach.
