Description

A long driveway of majestic plane trees, typical of Provence, leads you to the courtyard of this perfectly situated bastide.

The ground floor

To the right of the entrance is a well-equipped home cinema. You will have the feeling that you are in a private viewing room furnished with plush sofas, movie posters, a great selection of DVDs and the real Terminator.

To the left is a comfortable fully furnished office. The decor is masculine with a library, leather chairs, and a large work table. Off the office is a well-stocked wine cellar from which you can choose select wines ( a price list is in the cellar ) to accompany your meals. You can also arrange to taste these wines during your stay. There is also a small powder room (toilet and sink).

A second, smaller office is located here as well. This is furnished with contemporary furniture and leads to the fully equipped home gym.

The first floor

A beautiful statue welcomes you to the first floor. To the right is a comfortable lounge area with large fireplace, sofas, exposed beamed ceiling. To the left is another lounge area with stylish contemporary furnishings, fireplace, TV and sofas.

From the lounge you enter the large, modern kitchen. It is professionally equipped and has all the small appliances needed including TV and music system. The kitchen opens onto the terrace, park area and swimming pool. There is a large dining table seating 10 people, and a fireplace.

To the left of the kitchen is a laundry room with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board, and storage for towels and bathrobes.

To the right of the kitchen is the entry to the 3rd large living area with exposed beam ceiling, fireplace, sofas, dining table and TV.

From this living area you reach a bedroom with king size bed, TV, ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

The second floor

To the right is the master bedroom with king size bed, sofas, TV and his & her dressing rooms and bathrooms. Each is furnished and decorated to reflect the owners - hers is feminine and soft, his is masculine and darker. Each ensuite has a  shower, sink and toilet.

To the left of the stairs is a 2nd bedroom with queen size bed, TV, and ensuite bathroom with bath ( hand shower ), sink, shower and toilet. The old frescoes on the bathroom ceiling and walls have been restored creating a very feminine feel to the room.

The third floor

The 3rd bedroom on this floor has a king size bed, A/C, ensuite red bathroom with sink, shower and toilet, and dressing room.

The 4th bedroom has a king size bed, green ensuite bathroom with sink & toilet. The furnishings are contemporary and include a life sized statue of Tintin. There is a small carpeted living area with sofas and access to a large terrace.

This house beautifully combines contemporary furnishings with the architectural details of an 18th century home.

The house is surrounded by a 2.3 hectare park and on the lower level, protected from the mistral is the heated 15m x 5m pool.

It is secured with sophisticated alarm systems.
