Lovingly re-built on the ruins of pre-existing structures, the house consists of a constellation of hypóskapha, the cave-like structures characteristic of Santorini architecture. These have been converted into fully independent bedroom suites and living rooms. Scattered as they are across multiple levels, and connected by large terraces and winding pathways, the villa resembles a small village overlooking the Aegean.
Moulded into the volcanic rock, bedrooms are cool and airy during the day, and dark and very quiet during the night. Each has its own separate entrance, en suite facilities, and a small kitchen. Decoration is simple and elegant, and great attention has been given to comfort and detail, providing all the conveniences of urban life. Discreet and attentive service succeeds in giving the villa the feel of a relaxed family house.
The spacious terraces offer different lounging areas and a number of choices for drinking and dining. The pool is the largest private pool on the Caldera, and the views are second to none.
