 Location:

Centrally located in Praiano, a charming former fishing village situated between Amalfi and Positano. Just a flight of steps from the main coastal road and all necessary facilities – butchers, fruit & vegetable shops, grocery store, post office, bank, and the local, coastal bus stop for Positano, Sorrento and Amalfi.  Its secluded position, high above the coastline, surrounded by large terraces planted with palm trees and flowers, makes Villa Regina Bianca an exclusive oasis of privacy and peace, offering fantastic views towards Positano and Capri. The villa is laid out on three floors and the top tower. The villa is wonderful as it stands in its white splendors, leading your thoughts onto a dream-like place, which at the same time, with its arched-formed windows and garden columns, fall perfectly into the surrounding area.  About 150 meters from the villa, a pathway of steps takes you all the way down to the Praia beach near the Saracen tower of Praiano. The bathing establishment has sun chairs and umbrellas. The restaurant and bar serves food.

Description: 

First floor: The entrance has an iron door leading onto a paved patio with potted flowers and trees, overlooking the terraces and the pool area. The patio is furnished with a wicker sofa, 4 iron chairs, a small glass topped table, and 2 dining tables with chairs.  The patio has 3 French doors leading into the villa’s living room and dining area.  The dining room, adorned with Roman amphora, boasts a large, glass-topped table and fragments of original roman columns and seating for 12.  Access to a large, well-equipped tile kitchen (accessible from also the terrace and the hall) with refrigerator, freezer with icemaker, 5-range stovetop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher.  Dining corner with table and 3 chairs. Laundry room with 2 washing machines and ironing facilities. Entrance foyer with stairs connecting to the upper and lower floors, furnished with antique furniture, a marble table, and grand piano. Living room enjoys 3 sofas, armchairs, a fireplace, a glass topped table, a TV, and charming pieces of antique furniture.  A small, cosy work studio corner views the garden and is furnished with an armchair, small sofa, writing desk, and stereo.

Ground floor:

19 steps lead down to the 6 double bedrooms. The furniture and style of the rooms are simple.  All rooms have a dresser and/or wardrobe, TV and DVD, en-suite bathroom with shower box and French doors leading directly onto the terrace.  All bedrooms lead out onto a corridor, which also has a deposit used for luggage.  One of the rooms leads onto a small terrace furnished with garden furniture, chairs, and a small table.

Tower dependànce:

The villa’s top floor enjoys two double bedrooms, one with a double bed (two mattresses) and French doors leading out onto a small, panoramic balcony, the other with twin beds and a window.  Both bedrooms share a small bathroom with shower. In front of the tower lies an unfurnished roof terrace viewing the bell tower of Praiano. The tower’s bedrooms are reachable up 25 steps along an external staircase or by access through the garden directly from the entrance gate.

Second floor: (Only upon specific request)
The master bedroom leads out onto a panoramic terrace with a French window.  The room enjoys a large double bed, wardrobe, TV and DVD, and spacious en-suite bathroom in mosaic tiles with a bathtub and shower box.  The second floor also enjoys a living room and separate billiard room.  The living room enjoys several sofas, coffee tables, a large telescope and TV and opens onto the balcony.  27 steps lead from the first floor up to the master bedroom.

Terrace/garden:

The terrace of the main level enjoys built-in benches for seating and a pizza oven, barbeque, and ping-pong table. 19 steps leads down to a wonderful pool (18 meters x 5 meters x 2.5 meters) set on a terrace paved with natural stone and lined by white columns following the typical coast style.  Incredible views of the sea, Li Galli islands, and the coast can be enjoyed from the pool deck.  The pool deck is equipped with large umbrellas and sun lounge chairs and a corner of the terrace is shaded by flourishing lemon and orange trees. Outdoor shower. The terrace and the pool are up lit up at night.    

Access: 67 steps leads from the coastal road down to the gate of the property. 30 steps take you down to the first floor.

Facilities: Large refrigerator with freezer and icemaker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, 5-range stovetop, 2 washing machines and ironing facilities, outdoor pizza oven and barbeque. TV and DVD in 6 of the bedrooms. TV and stereo in the living area. Pool (18 m x 5 m x 2.5 m) with outdoor shower. Luggage room. Ping pong table.  Air conditioning in all bedrooms.

Maid service: The villa is staffed with 2 people who take daily care of everything from the garden and pool to daily cleaning 4 hours/day.  Extra service is available upon request at time of booking. 

Our Suggestions: 

A wonderful property for a large group of friends or a family. The villa is well furnished and equipped and the large outdoor terraces and pool make it just a phenomenal holiday home.  The double rooms are comfortable and panoramic; all enjoy en-suite facilities, except for the two rooms in the dependànce (tower), which share a bathroom.  All double beds consist of two twin beds.  Breakfast is included.
