Situated  between Florence and  Chianti, on the top of a hill surrounded by acres of land with commanding views of the beautiful countrysides.  The estate is situated between the towns of La Romola and Cerbaia, south of Florence.

Upper Floor:

Air-conditioned family room done-up with white sofas and oriental pieces, large windows with views, door to the very large terrace with sofa and chairs, potted plants – and endless views.

Bedroom 1: king size master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and separate shower stall. Air-conditioned. Private patio, via sliding glass doors and views.

Bedroom 2: King size master bedroom with en-suite Bathroom. Air-conditioned.
Coffee maker corner.  Good for parents with young child in a crib.

The Foyer Level.

Bedroom 3: two hundred-year-old antique Chinese bed for one adult or two children. En-suite bathroom and air-conditioned.

Bedroom 4: A king bedded room with en-suite bathroom. Air-conditioned.

Bedroom 5: A smaller canopy queen bedroom with  small bathroom with shower only (sharing with the next bedroom). Air-conditioned.

Bedroom 6: A one hundred and fifth-year-old antique Chinese bed which sleeps one person – preferably a child or young adult.. This small room shares the bathroom with the queen bedroom. Air-conditioned.

MAIN VILLA  - Lower Level 

A very well equipped and large kitchen to please both the Italian and American family. The owner has carefully redone the kitchen so it maintains its rustic charm including a fireplace, yet up to date. 3 dishwashers, two large refrigerator/freezer, a grill, ice cream maker, wine cooler and all the gadgets you can imagine. There is a table and chairs in the kitchen for snacks. A few steps down from the kitchen is the laundry area with washers and dryers  (operated only by house maids).

A large formal dining-room with chandelier, next to the restored old olive press. 

A very large twin living-room with spectacular views. Remove controlled bay window  which can be opened to enjoy the breezes from the hills. Door which opens to an extremely large terrace, done-up in oversized wicker chairs and overstuffed yellow striped cushions. Off of this area is a big dining gazebo and BBQ grill. This area is a favorite for big dinner parties or to retreat to in the evenings after dinner. Again, a wonderful breeze in the evenings.

The indoor swimming pool  opens by remote control on one side via an entire glass wall, on to a lawned area with teak lounges for sunning and relaxing or just to take in the views. By the swimming pool is a dining table where lunche  or snack can also be served. Behind this table are plants, which give it an outdoor feeling. Seating area with off white cushions around  the pool deck and fabulous lighting at night. Next to the pool you will find the sauna, shower, toilet and changing room.

The Cottage

The air-conditioned three bedroom  cottage for six  is self contained, including a sitting area, kitchen dishwasher, washer and dryer, trash compactor, garbage disposal, boiling water tap, new tub and shower, table and chairs for eating. TV with CNN and elevator.  .
