Upon arriving at Villa Carmel, guests are swept down a gorgeous staircase which winds through manicured gardens, and opens up to incredible, unobstructed views of the Mediterranean Sea. A contemporary masterpiece, the villa is perched above the water of the Costa Brava, allowing guests immediate access to swimming as well as the path to the town of Aiguablava.

Through the villa’s front door, a flood of light through floor to ceiling picture windows greets guests in the home’s main living area, where clean bright lines, designer furnishings, exquisite art, fireplace and unbelievable views overwhelm the senses, offering a feeling of arrival and relaxation. A breakfast table for four lies within this space and enjoys endless views of the Mediterranean – truly the perfect place to enjoy fare, friends and conversation.

Sitting adjacent to the living area is a dining room with seating for up to ten guests at the round dining table, complemented by stunning art and light installations. A cozy den follows, where guests can enjoy the plush sectional sofa and two leather armchairs which surround the gas fireplace and TV while overlooking yet another cove and lush pine forest. The gourmet kitchen which serves this space boasts Gaggenau appliances and custom cabinetry, creating an ideal space for meal preparation.

Branching just off the den, the Master Bedroom has a king size bed, as well as a private terrace which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. A dressing area connects the bedroom to its en suite Master Bathroom where there are dual vanity sinks, windows which look out to the north coast and a deep, jetted soaking tub that enjoys views of the small rocky cove to the north.

In addition to the master, there are four king guest bedrooms, each with its own suite bathroom, private terrace and incredible sea views. An additional service room is occupied by two twin beds for overflow guests, nannies or pilots.

The bottom floor of the villa is occupied by a game room with comfortable lounge seating, TV, foosball table, pool table and more exquisite water views.

Exterior

The villa’s exterior is absolutely breathtaking and perfectly reflects the home’s Mediterranean location, with perfectly maintained landscaping, a breathtaking pool overlooking the sea and a classic Roman pond. The expansive grounds offer guests total privacy as well as peace and quiet – something hard to find in the busy Costa Brava. The pool area is complete with cabana, outfitted with a kitchen, lounge area and bathroom facilities.

This villa is staffed with a caretaker who also cooks and cleans and lives in a separate apartment on the grounds.
