A Front-Row Seat To An Almost Unimaginable Landscape.

Wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling glass pulls you into the vista.

A swimming pool to cool off in warm weather… an in-ground spa for cooler weather and most every evening when the stars on are on full display… a gas fire feature for an after dinner chat or drinks.

When it’s time to turn in, you will find two cozy bedrooms; a king-bedded master with an en-suite bath (opening to an outdoor shower) and a queen-bedded second bedroom with a nearby full bathroom.

The Space

Brought to life by Oller & Pejic Architecture, this iconic home presents a contrast between clean, modern lines and the rugged desert landscape. Enter via the gated driveway to find the striking black facade welcoming you. Walk up the stairs to the courtyard featuring a mature olive tree, and let the magic begin.

-BEDS & BATHS-

Black Desert House can comfortably accommodate up to four guests in two bedrooms, making it ideal for couples or friends. Both bedrooms include king-size beds, and they both offer direct access to the pool and patio. The two bathrooms feature dual sinks and walk-in showers. One bathroom is en-suite in the master bedroom and includes access to an outdoor shower; the other is accessible from the hall.

-KITCHEN & DINING-

The sleek kitchen at Black Desert House has everything your inner chef desires, including high-end appliances and cabinets stocked with dishes and cookware. Like the rest of the home, even the kitchen offers stunning views. Dine in style underneath a unique chandelier; the table seats 6 with additional seating at the breakfast bar.

-LIVING SPACE-

Prepare to be amazed by the one-of-a-kind living room, which features a breathtaking wall of windows that look out to the rocky landscape of the 440-acre private preserve abutting the home. Comfortable furniture and a cozy fireplace mean this room isn’t just for show, but also a lovely spot for entertaining or hanging out. If you want to gaze at something other than the natural environment, the Black Desert House also features a secluded media / study room with a large-screen TV and bar.

-OUTDOOR SPACE-

Savor the desert sunshine at the private pool and in-ground hot tub that overlook the private park below the house. The pool deck is surrounded by an expansive patio with chaise lounge chairs and an outdoor dining table. Take a refreshing dip or sip an afternoon cocktail as you admire the rustic landscape around you.

-ESSENTIALS- Parking is available for two vehicles in the underground carport.

• DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $120. Please alert us in advance.

• SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!

*** Cleaning Protocols ***
As the only professional management company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards. Our cleaning fees are generally higher than the market average because we pay above the living wage standards, 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. This has always included disinfecting all “wet” surfaces (sinks, showers, toilets), replacing all linens and towels, and cleaning all dishes. We love the High Desert for a lot of reasons - including the open spaces, lack of crowds, and dry weather that we believe make it a safe place to visit.

Getting Around

While we are off a paved road, many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.

Due to factors beyond our control, prices and conditions are subject to change without notice.
