Cheer on a turtle in the conservation areas in Tulum
We love a dreamy day at the beach, no one is knocking that! Tulum offers white sandy beaches and blissful sunny views on Playa Ruínas and Playa Paraíso to name two of many. We had the pleasure of heading to Xcacel-Xcacelito Sanctuary which has areas of conservation for marine life. While we were there we had the unique experience and pleasure of watching a little turtle make it to the sea! As hard as it is, you are not allowed to help the turtles as they need to learn to survive; there are volunteers who ensure the rules of the conservation areas are followed. If you are considering doing something off the beaten track on your holiday we will be happy to book you an ethical tour of a conservation area. We cannot guarantee the magical moment we had but we really hope you have it!
