Canoe Cove is a newly constructed private villa-resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Set within extensive lawns and gardens, its privileged guests descend a few steps from the beachfront pool to the sandy beach: fronting coral reef-studded, crystal clear and swimmable waters.

Guests enter this security gated property by following the lush tree lined driveway to a six car portchere. Fruit tree groves, formal flower and vegetable gardens, interconnected walking paths, a jogging trail, and recreational lawns surround the villa. The extensive gardens host a HarTru clay lighted tennis court, a putting green, and a quarter basketball court. There is even ample space for landing a helicopter. A 75′ junior olympic sized pool with water features and in-pool loungers and the adjacent jacuzzi sit beachfront within extensive decking.  The pool offers shallow entry, small shallow pools adjacent for children, as well as ample lawn area and oversized adjacent sandbox for play time.  Nearby sits the covered gazebo with outdoor dining and beach bar facilities, as well as a changing room and outdoor shower. A separate building holds the gym and spa, complete with a private bathroom.

With an open plan and open-air concept, Canoe Cove boasts numerous outdoor living spaces with expansive views of the cove and sea for relaxing and entertaining. The living spaces feature warm wooden flooring and overarching exposed beam ceilings. The interior great room spaces open on three sides to the Jamaican breezes, and full wall doors retract and open to covered outdoor living spaces by the pool.

Family and wheelchair friendly, Canoe Cove hosts up to fourteen guests in comfort in seven bedroom suites. Six of the spacious bedrooms host king sized beds, boast full en-suite bathrooms and open to Caribbean view balconies or terraces. The seventh bedroom hosts two queen sized beds, sports an en-suite bathroom, but does not open to a terrace or balcony.  Combining bedrooms one and/or two with the seventh provides for a convenient family suite.

The well-trained, dedicated staff, including butler, chef, assistant chef and housekeeping, are housed separately on the property.

The crystalline waters offshore at Canoe Cove provide enviable opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, jet skiing or sailing. There’s plenty to do for guests of all stripes, whether relaxing in pampered style or enjoying more active pursuits.
