This beautiful property consists of a former silkworm house and renovated farmhouse (the Mansion) and is located between LACOSTE and BONNIEUX in the heart of the Luberon Natural Park, one of the 350 biospheres of the planet listed by UNESCO.  The main house has three bedrooms, a large dormitory, 4 bathrooms and an L shaped swimming pool; it is perfect for 3 couples and up to 8 children.  The Mansion with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and swimming pool will comfortably sleep 8-10 people.  The completely enclosed property has panoramic views of the Luberon valley, hilltop villages and Mont Ventoux, a landscaped garden with several terraces set into the hillside, a tennis court . and a large L-shaped swimming pool (17mx8.5m. with diving board).  The pool and house interiors were all refreshed for the 2012 season.

La Cerisale is located in close proximity to  the villages of Luberon, 5km from Bonnieux and its small shops, cafes and restaurants and just 12km of APT with its supermarkets and famous Saturday market.  It is  40km from AVIGNON. 45km from Aix en Provence and 75 minutes drive from Marseille.Panoramic view overlooking the Luberon, Ventoux and the village of Bonnieux.
 

Description
 
In the main house La Cerisaie there is 350m2  of living space on 4 levels:
 
Garden level : 2 double BEDROOMS with inter-connecting door . Each has a small bath room (shower, WC, wash-hand basin), direct access to the garden. The blue room has 2 single beds, the pink room has a queen size bed . Underground arched cave with freezer.  The laundry contains the central heating unit, water-softener, washer, dryer, and professional ironing machine.
 
Ground level : a  porch and an arbor, BBQ, outdoor table for 22 people. Direct access to a vast open living room nicely decorated with painted walls of bunches of bougainvillea, many paintings of contemporary artists.
 
Open and central cooking area with fully equipped kitchen insluding a a La Cornue cooker, hood, large refrigerator, Microwave, professional dishwasher (washing in 4mn), many food processors, coffee Expresso machine, ice-cream freezer...

The salon has a beautiful Provencal fireplace., L-shaped sofa, armchairs, coffee table. Piano, Satellite TV (US , GB and Middle-East channels ), giant screen, HIFI, Video, DVD.... There are huge spiral staircases to the upper levels made of Espei stone (a local stone). Toilet with WCs.
 
2d level: consists of  the Master bedroom and its office. The bedroom has a King size bed 2m by 2m. Cupboards. large fan. Private telephone line.  The office opens onto a terrace and has a  small piano, fax, Internet connection, TV with satellite channels. There is a separate WC and a complete bathroom with shower, bath-tub, 2 basins, direct opening onto the private terrace. A cot is available. This floor is not allowed for children under 18.
 
3d level a vast room that serves as a dormitory for children.  It has a a 40 cm high wooden podium with 8 single beds, many cupboards, a playing area, desk corners.  There is aseperate WC and a shower-room with 2 showers, 2 basins.
 
Mosquitoes nets in all the bedrooms of the main house.
 
The Mansion  Ground floor featuresan entry hall with WC, Tavel stone on the floor, then to the left a large sitting room with open fire, Satellite TV with large screen, a spinet, 2 sets of sofas and armchairsTo the rightof the hall is a twin bedroom with A/C,  and ensuite bathroom with shower, a basin. Separate WC.
 
There is abright dining room with table for 10 people and 2 smaller tables for the service
 
The brand new kitchen has a central table,  “La Cornue” cooker, Kenwood blender, steam oven, microwave, wine cupboard, professional dishwasher, a pantry with all the fridges and freezer, ice maker.  There is a 2nd pantry with machine nespresso, coffee maker, etc.
 
2nd floor has three bedrooms:
 
“The Tower” bedroom(40 m2), for adults only with2 beds (1.00 m x 2.00 m), A/C, bathrobe and bathroom with  Jacuzzi tub, hammam with shower, 2 washbasins, and separate WC.
 
The “Mount Ventoux” (40 m2), for adults only with2 beds (1.00 m x 2.00 m )A/C, bathrobe and bathroom with  tub, shower, 1 washbasin, and separate WC.
 
With outside access at the back of the house on the 2d floor is  “The Dovecote” bedroom  (50 m2),  with 2 beds (0.90 m x 2.00 m) + 2 beds (0.90 m x 2.00 m) sofa bed, fan ( no A/C) fireplace and TV.  The bathroom has a bathtub , shower,  washbasin and separate WC.
 
Luxury toiletries are provided in each bathroom.
 
The house has phone, fax, ADSL (also wireless), TV, Video, CD
 
Attached to the Mansion, in the east wing are the staff quarters and owners’ space
 
Outdoors
 
La Cerisaie has offers wonderful entertaining possibilities:
 
The outdoor area has a kiosk with benches in the shape of a snail and shaded table.  There is a shower ingeniously hidden in a former stone well.  There are 2 fountains (which are not protected) and planted garden of lavenders, boxwood, cherry trees, cypress, rose trees and on a  lower level of the garden a section “a la Francaise”
 
The 17mx8.5m L shaped swimming pool with diving board is protected by a wrought iron fence
 
The opportunity exists to organize very large parties outside in the garden with 7 hectares of land planted in vines that produce Cote du Luberon wines.
 
There is a large parking area
 
The tennis court is located in La Cerisaie.
 
The Mansion outdoor area has a patio and terrace with garden furniture.
 
Al fresco dining  is possible under the arbor, or in the cherry orchard & olive grove.
 
The 10mx12m swimming pool is located at 200m from the house.  It features an ancient fountain at one end and has entry stairs.  It is 1.15m deep on the perimeter and 1.8m deep in the middle.
 
An old stone shelter (borie) has a  wc, small kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, wine cupboard, dishes, an outside hot showerand  Sink,  Also available are a  BBQ, garden furniture and umbrellas.
 
There is parking for 8 cars 200m away
 
Technical facilities : satellite TV, DVD, Hifi,  phone, fax, ADSL wireless, safe.
 
Services
 
Three staff members on site provide cleaning, concierge and breakfast service 7 days a week. Breakfast includes coffee, tea, fresh squeezed orange juice, milk, yogurt, pastries and croissants, jams, eggs.  The staff can provide some assistance at meals but are not available for full time cooking or clean-up.  They speak some French, Russian and Polish.
 
On request baby sitting and chef services can be arranged, we can also arrange for musicians ( classic and jazz).
 
Baby equipment (2 baby beds, cradle, baby chairs) provided.

Notes
 
Pets are not allowed.
 
Toiletries are provided in each bathroom   (soap, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, Kleenex, cotton swab, cotton wool cleansing.)
 
The price includeds heating and an open fire in october,  and all local taxes .
 
Security deposit : 5,000 euros under 15 pers. 10,000 euros for more.
