Location
 
The property is 45 minutes from Marseille and its international airport, Nimes international airport is the same distance away.
 
St Remy de Provence is 10 minutes away and has very good restaurants, many high end shops and a Provencal market every Friday.  Even closer (15 min walk)  is the village of Eygalieres (a favorite hideaway for wealthy Parisians) which hosts a number of good restaurants including the Michelin starred “Chez Bru”. You will find all the charm and amenities in the village including butcher, baker, café/ bar and weekly market
 
Les Baux de Provence is 20 minutes away, Avignon 30 minutes and Aix-en-Provence is 45 minutes
 
To reach the villa there is a dirt road from the lovely road which connects Eygalieres to Mouries, very well known by the bikers
5mn drive by car to EYGALIERES. There is also a path ( a short cut through the country) to reach the village : 15mn walking

Description
 
The house offers 4000 square feet of living accommodation recently totally renovated in keeping with the traditional Provencal style but with the ultimate in contemporary comfort. The buildings nestle in lovely mature gardens including beautiful cypress trees, a lavender field, banks of irises, rosemary bushes and laurel trees, in addition to the olive grove that surrounds the house and the pool.
 
The main house has three bedrooms and with its high beamed ceilings offers plenty of light and an airy atmosphere with all of the rooms opening onto furnished terraces with views of the gardens.

The entrance leads directly into the very modern and fully equipped semi-professional kitchen and dining area.  Very modern gray kitchen contains many cupboards, oven, coffee machine, sink, TV, toaster,Siemens, two fridges, two freezers, two dishwashers. There is an entry to the laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer.
 
On the left wing are two connecting twin/double bedrooms, one with a separate entrance and both rooms have en suite bathrooms; one with bath tub and the other with shower.
 
The right wing is comprised of a huge luminous living room (over 50 m2) with stone fire place and cathedral ceiling 5m high, with  white leather sofas as well as a desk with wireless internet connection and a fax machine. Home office with printer, telephone/fax and WIFI internet access (around the house and out by the pool). Next to this room is the third twin/double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath tub.
 
On the lower floor is a cinema room with satellite television, 2 sofas, DVD, Hi FI system.This is a playroom with large flat screen satellite TV and 5.1 surround sound.
 

The annex has two bedrooms; a master suite with a 4-poster King size bed, a cosy sitting area and a spacious en suite bathroom with bath tub and separate shower. There is also a private terrace leading to the side of the garden. The second bedroom is another twin/double with en suite bathroom with shower and terrace overlooking the garden.
 
Outside
 
The gardens are exquisite and beautifully maintained with a huge terrace in front of the main house living area with comfortable sofas and a partly covered area for al fresco dining.
 
There is a heated swimming pool (15m x 5m with retractable cover for security) surrounded by both terraces and lawns (shaded and sunny) The pool is surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace with outside shower, a small well equipped summer kitchen, a BBQ and a changing room with double shower, dressing room and cloakroom.

All bedrooms have plasma televisions and DVD players.  The entire property is air conditioned and has under floor heating so it is idea for both winter and summer rentals.

 •Ten hours maid service per week included during the winter and 15 hours during the mid and high season
 •Also included is a nice meet and greet done by Jane, an American woman who lives in Eygalieres.
