The pretty and thriving village of Mouries is located in the heart of Les Alpilles. It is famous for being the centre of the largest olive oil producing area of France; in fact there are a number of working olive oil mills that can be visited close by. The immediate area also boasts, Les Servanes, one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in Provence, which has Les Alpilles as an inspiring backdrop.

Mas de Saint Jacques is located in the heart of the village, in a quiet road and just a few short steps from the local shops, restaurants and bars. Behind the high gates and wall that surround the property, the garden of around 500 sq m is of a sufficient size to include a 5 x 10m step pool and space for outdoor living in spring and summer.

The property itself is a recently, converted and very spacious mas, with very large rooms throughout, decorated using a clever mix of authentic Provencal materials, dark attractive Eastern wood and contemporary stylish furnishings. A lot of good taste prevails.

Ground floor
A pretty hall greets one on entering the house, to the right there is a large fully equipped modern open-plan  kitchen and dining room , complete with; Lacornue cooker, two large fridge freezers, two dishwashers, espresso machine and Ipod base unit. To the left there are two comfortable living rooms, the first featuring; Satellite TV, library and working fireplace. The second and main living room, features large French windows with direct access to the garden, a piano and large plasma screen TV. On this floor, there is also a WC and Laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

First floor
All five bedrooms are all located on this floor, off a very attractive landing that runs through the length of the house. The large Master bedroom has a 180cm bed, flat screen TV, Internet access, coffee machine, separate dressing room; the en-suite bathroom has both bath and shower. There is a separate WC. The second bedroom has a small living room, a 160cm bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and WC. The third and forth bedrooms, one with a 160cm bed, the other with twin beds, share a bathroom with,  shower, bath and WC. The final bedroom, with 140cm bed, dressing room has an en-suite bathroom with, shower and WC.
