Location: This charming villa is located in one of the most beautiful and panoramic areas along the Amalfi Coast.  It is conveniently located between the two historical towns of Amalfi and Ravello, in a private and exclusive position, making it a great starting point for easy day trips to all the tourist points of interest of the Amalfi and Sorrento Coasts as well as Naples, Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, and the Islands of Capri and Ischia. 

The pool situated on the upper (first) floor of the villa and the five different levels of large terraces and gardens face the sun and the sea.  Every angle of the property allows you to admire the beautiful Lattari mountains, verdant with cultivations of lemons, which steeply plunge into the sea and enclose the narrow valleys of the villages of Minori and Maiori, the picturesque inlet of the coast, visible up to Capo D’Orso, and last but not least, the wide and splendid view of the Mediterranean sea. Its terraces are decorated with jars filled with flowers, some sun-drenched and others shaded by pergolas,  trees, or awnings.  The interiors are luminous, welcoming and, tastefully and elegantly furnished in a bright Mediterranean style. 

Description:Entrance to the two story property is from the main road along a short private driveway.  Ground Floor: 19 steps lead up to the main floor of the villa.  Entrance is into a roomy and airy living room, elegantly furnished with large sofas and couches placed all around an open marble fireplace, and decorated with lots of precious lamps, paintings and ceramic vases.  A crystal dining table with a wood base and elegant wood chairs seats 6.  The living room features 2 French windows with coordinating curtains opening onto a panoramic terrace with spectacular views.  This terrace is equipped with a wrought iron table with ceramic top for 6 and wrought iron chairs.  A second French window opens onto a lateral terrace with great sea views.  The living-room also boasts large windows through which you can enjoy a wide-open view of the seascape. 

The kitchen can be reached from the living room but also from the terrace, making it easy and pleasant to organize outdoor meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dining table with 8 seats, a 4-range stove top, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, refrigerator, and freezer.  The kitchen has a door leading to the terrace situated in a delightful angle, surrounded by pine trees and mature violet bougainvillea. You will find this terrace perfect for outdoor meals, situated in front of the breathtaking seascape.  The terrace enjoys a big table for outdoor meals, shaded by awnings. 

An elevator is located next to the kitchen.  This floor also features a laundry room and a bathroom with modern glass shower cubicle.  A hallway behind the living room leads to a roomy bedroom featuring one double bed, one single bed, en-suite bathroom with large shower cubicle, and 2 French windows opening to terraces with sea views.  

First Floor:  Reached either through the indoor staircase (20 steps) or the elevator, the first floor houses 2 double bedrooms and one bedroom with 2 single beds.  The largest double bedroom boasts en-suite bathroom with a large shower cubicle and hydro-massage tub.  The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom, located in the hall, with a modern glass stall shower.  Each bedroom has its own TV, air conditioning, and French windows opening onto terraces with sea views. 

Terraces and Pool Area:  The pool deck can be reached by the an external staircase (45 steps) or the elevator, which leads directly to the spacious terrace.  The terrace boasts terracotta-tile floors, decorated with large terracotta pots overflowing with geraniums.  A staircase of 21 steps takes you to the upper level where an immense terrace provides spectacular views of the coast and the sea, comfortable and furnished outdoor spaces.  It houses quite a large swimming pool (16 meters x 7 meters), 2 outdoor showers, deck chairs, shaded dining area with table and charcoal barbecue, and an angle furnished as a bar. 

Access: Remote-controlled gate opening onto the private driveway. Parking for 3 cars. Car suggested but not essential. 

Facilities: Swimming pool (7 meters x 16 meters), 2 outdoor showers, elevator, laundry room with 2 washing machines, dishwasher, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, heating, A/C throughout, pay telephone for incoming and outgoing calls, ADSL internet connection, refrigerator, freezer, electric oven, hairdryer in each bathroom, barbecue area, ironing facilities, private parking area for 3 cars . 

Car park: A garage, at the end of the driveway, provides parking for one car.  Additional parking for two cars is located on the private driveway. 

Maid: 30 hours maid service (5 hours per day, Monday-Saturday) and twice-a-week change of linens are included in the rental price. 

Pool opening: from May 12^th to October 20^th 

Our Suggestions:  Food delivery service, private chef, baby sitter, baby cot and high chair available for an additional cost. The nearest beach is Castiglione di Ravello, 1,5 km away.  This is a picturesque, half-moon shaped beach, nestled in a little bay surrounded by a high stretch of coast.  In order to arrive at the beach, you have to descend from the road, a public stairway consisting of approx. 180 stone steps.  During the summer months you are able to take advantage of a bar, umbrella and sun lounge rental facilities. Other beaches that can be reached more comfortably, by car or by bus, are the beach of Atrani (1 km), Amalfi (2,5 km), Minori (5 km) and Maiori (6 km).
