The newly restored stone farmhouse “Poggio” is located on one of the most impeccably kept wine producing estates in Greve in Chianti. The experience is one you imagine and what Villa Poggio brings to reality. Perched on the hill and surrounded by acres and acres of grapevines, the glimmering silvery colors of the olive trees beyond and woodlands. You can relax by your pool. Lunch under a century old tree, do a BBQ in the evening or hire a regional cook to make you delicious local dishes. There are woods for walking, wild berries and mushrooms to collect when in season. Comes September there is the wine Fest which brings out the best of the Chianti wines, most of which are produced right there in Greve and on your own farm. You can tour the cellars on the estate, taste or purchase some of the fine wines and extra virgin olive oil.
