This 4-acre privately-owned islet, circled by truly magical white sands, palm frond beaches and turquoise waters is, quite possibly, the most beautiful island lagoon on earth.

Designed by an internationally famous designer, the islet’s buildings are majestic structures with vast decks and “pandanus” (thatched) roofs, crafted to harmonize perfectly with the beauty of their unique setting.

The islet comprises:

Main Fares:

  • 2.500 sq/ft comprised of two luxurious suites, each with a sunken lava bathtub, shower, dressing area, and bedroom area with king size beds, mosquito nets, and customized furniture. Extra large plasma t.v. with an exotic sound system. All custom designed of rare essences of tropical woods, and natural fabric.

Of course both air conditioned with panoramic views on the garden, the beach and the main island in the background from inside or just relaxing outside in the warm trade            winds from the expansive decks all furnished with outdoor custom rest beds

  • The Great Room, also about 2.500sq/ft, a vast surface of casual gathering or formal entertaining. Let your mood choose the spot, extra large sofas, rest beds, or even the “fireplace” and antique single block stone to burn coco or incense while enjoying the stunning vistas and the music from the invisible sound system.

In case of excess wind or tropical rains all openings will be instantly closed with motorized  screens.

  • The adjacent dining area, with a hidden wet bar, surrounded by the garden. Choose your light depending on the time of day by using the custom extra large louvered openings. Lunch on a rainy day or tea time away from the heat, this is the place where you can enjoy the views on the translucid “Oa” side of the motu where the lagoon reaches to the coral reef and ocean. Two extra large custom made tables enable you to enjoy dining with a capacity of up to thirty six people if you have opted not to eat on the beach where you can choose the spot according to the breezy or calmer side on two large garden tables.

  • The Library, a fortress (hurricane resistant) completely furnished and decorated with museum quality Polynesian art, artefacts, rare books and antique prints.

A U shape coach takes up and entire side of the space. Enjoy music hall quality sound  or the surround sound system along the giant plasma t.v. system.

Temperature controlled, the perfect place to cool of after a day boating or snorkelling or even watch your favourite ball game, thanks to the satellite connection.

  • Kitchen: All a professional chef could ever want, equipped with commercial quality stainless steel equipment, with refrigeration, espresso machine, blenders, convection ovens etc.  Separated from all the other buildings.

Please note that most of the main buildings are connected with a covered wooden causeway.

The guest fares:

Nine independent beach bungalows and two suites on the west and east side.

The west, the coral and sunset side with three bungalows and a suite.

The east, the lagoon or sunrise side, six bungalows and a suite.

All bungalows and suites are cabled for satellite t.v (available on request)

  • The beach bungalows: shaded and so naturally cooled by coconut palm trees, with decks suspended over the garden and feet away from the white sand. All have king size beds, mosquito nets, bathroom with marble sinks and a solid wood vanity. Separate WC and step in wood panelled shower. Decorated tastefully with prints, white coral sitting on shelves alongside a collection of seashells.

  • The suite: two bedrooms one with twin beds the other with a king size bed.

Two bathrooms, one with a free standing bathtub, the other with a shower. A truly large deck including deck coaches and rest beds to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets on the           west or sunrises on the east.

Soon to be completed, an independent fare to be a gym will be available with all the amenities including exercise machines, showers, bathroom, large mirrors and satellite television.

Please note that the motu is completely self sufficient. It has its own water making facility, power generator, waste water treatment center etc.

Neither a power failure on the main island nor a drastic water shortage can affect the level of comfort of the motu.
